Effective Cashback Rate 有效返现率
相信大家经常在存款或贷款相关的资料中看到“effective interest rate”(有效利率)这个词. 它是将所有费用, 利息和还款方式等因素纳入考量后, 计算出的实际借款成本. 有效利率能够更准确地反映贷款或存款的真实成本, 帮助消费者更好地比较不同的金融产品.
同样的概念也可以用于计算和比较不同信用卡的”effective cashback rate“(有效返现率).
有效返现率 = 实际收到的现金返还 / 总消费金额 x 100%
由于现金返还上限(cashback cap)和最低消费要求(minimum spend)的关系, 真正的有效返现率通常比宣传的要低.
以UOB EVOL Card(每月最低消费S$800)为例, 它的有效返现率其实只有5.55%. 前提是你必须每月出国刷S$200, 因为网上的外币消费不算. 如果没有的话, 它的有效返现率则更低, 只有3.94%.
以下是有效返现率(effective cashback rate)较高的信用卡, 基本上都可以达到银行网站上宣传的6%-8%.
